Dear friends and neighbors:
Buck's Harbor Market will be open for in-store shopping starting Monday, June 29. Because we care deeply about the safety of our customers and staff and want to do everything possible to reduce the spread of Covid-19 in our community, the in-store experience, at least for the time being, will be different in several important ways:
To permit proper social distancing, we’ll be allowing a maximum of five shoppers in the store at a time.
Masks or face coverings will be mandatory, and we ask that customers use hand sanitizer before entering the store. Both masks and hand sanitizer will be available at the door.
Customers will need to use our shopping baskets and not place items on the checkout counter. The cashier will remove/bag your items.
Coffee will be dispensed by BHM staff and pastries will be individually wrapped.
We won’t be able to offer seating in the café this season.
Also, please note that our porch railing shouldn’t be used as seating and that the porch table is reserved for curbside orders.
We’re happy to announce that breakfast sandwiches will be back on June 29. Orders for four or more breakfast sandwiches should be placed the day before. To ease store congestion and better serve lunch time patrons, sandwiches and other lunch items may be ordered/prepaid the day before as well.
We plan to continue offering curbside grocery pickup throughout the season. Customers can call ahead with their orders, and the cashier will fulfill them based on availability. The market’s website (bucksharbormarket.com) includes an updated slideshow of our inventory.
Starting Monday, June 15, BHM hours will be Monday and Tuesday from 8 AM to 6 PM and Wednesday through Saturday from 8 AM to 7 PM and Sunday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
We’re making pizza Wednesday through Saturday from 4 PM to 7 PM--taking orders
until 6:30 PM, with the last pickup at 7 PM.
