Dear friends and neighbors,
Buck’s Harbor Market will reopen on Wednesday, December 16th.
As we continue to adapt to the situation around us, we have decided to remain curbside-only
and reduce our hours of operation.
The market will now be open Wednesday through Saturday, 8 AM to 6 PM,
with pizza and Build-Your-Own-Burgers from 4 PM to 6 PM.
We hope to see you at our door so that we may get you the hot soups,
tasty sandwiches and grocery items you need.
As always, we are grateful for your friendship
and continued support through these
We are hopeful for the day that we can
see each other smile again
as we will no longer need to wear masks
and life can “go back to normal.”
Finally, we are happy to share that our
“Change Can Make a Change” fundraiser raised $100 in donations last month.
The money was given to the
Tree of Life food pantry
to help feed our neighbors on the Peninsula
who are going through tough times.
A huge thanks to all who helped out!
We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, and all the best in the New Year.
Dear friends and neighbors:
Throughout the pandemic, we've gone to great lengths to keep our customers and employees safe. For example, when the Blue Hill Peninsula recently experienced a new wave of Covid cases, the market returned to curbside-only service.
Now, out of an abundance of caution, we've decided to close the store for the next two weeks, starting tomorrow. That's because two of our employees were briefly exposed this past weekend to someone who subsequently tested positive for Covid. The employees were wearing masks at the time, which, as you know, significantly reduces the chance of transmission. Both employees have begun a two-week self-quarantine, and they will be tested for the virus before returning to work. It's important to note that no customers have come into contact with either employee.
We sincerely appreciate your continued support at a time when our lives are so full of challenges.
Take care, be safe and see you soon.
