I could go on and on about all of the new, tasty, local, organic, vegan, gluten-free items we carry, but why don't you swing by BHM and see for yourself? We will be open all-year-round after being closed for the past several winters
After being closed for over 6 months, Buck's Harbor Market reopened on Wednesday, June 19! It was heartwarming to see so many of our friends and neighbors who came out to see the newly renovated market. The c.1905 building had a complete overhaul from roof-to-basement, literally!
TC Hafford poured the basement, local electricians, plumbers, carpenters and painters revamped the old structure. Several BHM staff members worked to clean up after the construction was over and put the place [back] together. The cafe' looks like a million bucks with new windows/treatments, lighting and attractive new tables and chairs. Even the old front counter received a little TLC from the spouse of a staff member. Everyone would like to send a big thank you to Fred & Patty Green who are responsible for BHM's improvements...it's wonderful!
